What is a Disclosure Plan anyway?
It is a survey of the block of land as it was in its original condition. It discloses to you what it will look like once the land is titled.
The plan will show you the dimensions of the block, any easements over the block and how the contours or slope over the land will look like.
Further to a Disclosure Plan, sometimes there is a Plan of Development (POD) or Setback plan. This tells you about the building envelope of where the house is allowed to sit on the block of land. If there is no POD then it falls back into standard local council requirements.
